PRESENT THE HYSEQ shift system

Hyseq-single-shifter-1

HYSEQ is a new, hydraulically operated shifting system, designed for efficient shifting and practical use in combination with the Kindernay gearhub. It is hydraulically operated, similar to hydraulic brakes, with a closed reservoir for thermal compensation, and bleed nipples on both the actuator and shift levers for quick and hassle-free bleeding. The system is light-weight, it has a direct shift feel, and is robust and simple, with minimal maintenance requirements. The actuator is easily detached from the hub, allowing quick wheel removals. For longevity, the actuator is mounted inboard of the chainstay and seatstay, well protected from potential impacts.

The actuator can be mounted in any direction (full 360 degrees of rotation) and is locked in place by the Thru-Axle.

With no need to replace worn shifter cables or housing, the shifters are not only virtually maintenance free, but they stay perfectly adjusted as well, since the index mechanism is located inside the hub.

The first internal gear hub that accommodates a 12mm through-bolt, yielding a total of 14 speeds out of just three simple planetary series. Also, the lightest full-range 14-speed gear hub on the market, weighting just 1400 grams. For even more practicality, we've designed the XIV with a wide gear range of 543% between the first and fourteenth speed, and 13.9% gear.
